SBQ Picture Day

I am going to answer an old SBQ this time. From June 7, 2006. It was asking for pictures of the back of your stitching. So here is the back of the wizard I just finished. Not too bad considering there were quite a few color changes. It also asked for a picture of your favorite stitching place. Well I don't have a picture but I can tell you. Depends on what I am stitching a lot of times it is setting on the futon while watching TV. Or if I need more light I will do it at the kitchen table as there is a light directely over the table.

This is all for now. Maybe will try to do some more SBQ's later.

My biggest cross stitch yet. This is 5x7 picture of a wizard. Dimensions Kit #79019 Wizard. I am going to frame it in an 8x10 frame with a burgendy mat. I was wondering since the material is not large enough to wrap to the back the way the instructions say if it would be okay to glue it just around the outer edge? This would be under the mat and would not show in any way. And would be done using a washable fabric glue.

This was a little kit that I had in my purse as a travel kit. Had not got it started so while DH was in hospital last week I worked on it will there with him. And completed it today. Next one I started is a 5x7 Wizard kit from Dimensions.

Merry Christmas

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. We did. Had the kids over for Christmas dinner and presents. Daughter brought 2 extras. A teenage boy who has a bad home life and had nowhere to go for the holiday. And a friend who she has been helping with some medical issues. He also had nowhere to go for today. So at the last moment she brought him along. After everyone left hubby wanted to watch "Christmas Vacation" so we watched it. Then he was watching "Home Alone" on cable when I came in here to download pictures and read mail. Now I got to go. Have to give the ferrets their Christmas treats and let them play awhile.

Our granddaughter

This is a picture of our 12 year old granddaughter. Her mother sent this to us today. She took it this morning. She did not smile for her school pictures so she sent this. She is a lovely girl. And growing up so fast.
